I’m running for the East Brunswick Board of Education because I know how much it means for someone to listen and speak up for students who are still developing their own voice. I struggled to communicate as a student, took special education classes at memorial and received speech therapy until High School. Through my community advocacy work across East Brunswick and New Jersey, I’ve seen how important it is for schools to make sure every family and student has a voice while helping families manage the financial, social, and emotional pressures of raising children. I’m focused on student mental health, school climate, and universal programs that give every student a safe place to build relationships, confidence, and curiosity. East Brunswick needs new ideas and creative solutions so working families can continue calling this community home for generations.
I believe a strong community starts with fully supporting our children and families. That is why I will fight for free, full-day Pre-K for every family. Our schools must be funded well enough that parents do not have to buy basic supplies out of pocket, and no child should be charged fees to join a sports team, club, or arts program. I am committed to ending school lunch debt and improving language programs for incoming families. When budgets get tight, I will protect special education, mental health, and early intervention services. Finally, we must support our educators and staff by hiring support teams in-house instead of contracting them out, and by ensuring they have affordable health coverage they can actually use.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
